Wedding video in Oatley
2nd November, 2010
This weekend it was destination Oatley for the wedding of Jacqui and Scott at St Josephs Catholic church. Filming commenced half an hour prior to the wedding ceremony to capture the arrival of guests and family and some lovely shots of the church were filmed to include as cut aways throughout the pre and post ceremony mingling. The ceremony itself was a lovely, intimate service and Dad did an excellent job giving his stunning daughter away.
After family photos in shade near the church we headed to the unlikely venue of Mortdale Pub for a bet on the Caulfield Cup. I am yet to learn whether the results were fruitful but the punters were chuffed to see their local comrades gracing their presence in all their finery. Thank you to Mortdale Pub for providing permission for filming prior to the wedding day.
From Mortdale Pub it was on to St Michael’s Golf Club at Little Bay for some course cruising in golf carts. Some stunning photos on the oceanside cliffs were taken by Karina of Nerida McMurray Photography and the footage is spectacular as well. It was extremely windy so some pretty drastic measures were taken to keep the video camera still but the footage is stunning as a result. The reception was lovely with a subtle black and white theme and the event ran like clockwork with pleasant staff and very nice food. Thank you to Jacqui and Scott for inviting us to be a part of their wedding day and for choosing Harbour City Films for their wedding video. Editing will be commencing this week.
