Wedding season in Sydney
4th November, 2010
December and January are notoriously busy proposal months. As couples put their leave forms in at work and start planning their summer holidays, Groom’s-to-be are thinking about when and where they will pop that ‘will you marry me’ question. When the holidays come to an end and the excitement ebbs to a dull roar, the planning starts to commence and it is generally the Bride who starts investigating this business of getting married.
From just after New Year’s Eve enquiries for all wedding services are the busiest they will be all year. All of Sydney’s best venues will start booking out as will leading photographers and videographers. Appointment times at studios become increasingly difficult to get as after hour slots fill quickly. This time of year is also peak wedding season, which means most wedding videographers are out filming weddings on weekends as well.
For any of you who are lucky enough to be planning your wedding before the January rush, a little tip from us here at Harbour City Films is to get all of your main requirements researched and booked now. Venues, photographers and wedding video all need to be booked at least 12 months in advance of your wedding – especially if your wedding date is in spring, summer or early autumn.
